QR code equipment inspections, without the app headaches
F.O.R.C. — Facilities Operational Reports & Compliance puts the inspection right on the equipment. Stick a QR code on the forklift, the fire extinguisher, the eyewash station. Operators scan it with the phone they already carry, run the checklist in their web browser, and hit submit. That's it. The record is saved with their name and the time.

Why I built it this way
I spent 20-plus years in maintenance, starting as the tech filling out inspection sheets by hand and working up to running facilities. The paper always had the same problems: clipboards walk off, sheets get filled out at the end of the week from memory, and when someone asks for last March's records, you're digging through a filing cabinet.
Every "fix" I tried had its own problem. Apps need installing on every phone. Worker logins get forgotten or shared. So with F.O.R.C. the operator doesn't need an app or an account. They scan, check, and submit.

How it works
1. Add your equipment
Give it a name, a location, and pick the checklist that fits the job.
2. Print the QR sticker
Print stickers yourself for free, or order optional mailed weatherproof sticker packs once you're signed in. Put the sticker where operators will see it before they use the equipment.
3. Scan, check, submit
The operator scans the code with their phone camera. The checklist opens in the browser. They enter their name (or a personal PIN, if you require approved operators), answer each item, and submit. Anything that fails gets flagged.
4. Review and export
Managers see what's been inspected, what needs attention, and what got missed. Export the history as CSV or PDF whenever you need it, on any plan.
What you get
- No app, no worker accounts. Operators use their phone's camera and browser.
- Unlimited operators on every plan. Optional approved-operator list with personal PINs.
- Named, timestamped records. Every check shows who did it and when.
- Problem flags. Failed items stand out so they can be dealt with.
- Exports you own. CSV or PDF, any plan, anytime.
- Managers sign in with a one-time email code. No password to lose.
What equipment it's for
Anything that gets a routine check: forklifts and pallet jacks, aerial and scissor lifts, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, ladders, and similar shop, warehouse, and facility equipment.
What it doesn't do
F.O.R.C. keeps the records. It doesn't certify compliance, and your team stays responsible for the equipment, training, and safety decisions. You decide which checks and records your site needs.
Pricing in one line
Free for 1 site and 3 pieces of equipment, no credit card. Single site is $29/month for up to 25 pieces of equipment. Unlimited is $59/month. See pricing →
FAQ
Do operators need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone's camera and the checklist opens in the web browser.
Do operators need accounts?
No. They enter their name. If you want tighter control, turn on approved operators and give each one a personal PIN.
What happens if an item fails?
The inspection is flagged as needing attention so managers can see it and follow up.
Can I get my records out?
Yes. Export CSV or PDF anytime, on any plan, including Free.
Does this make me OSHA compliant?
No software can promise that. F.O.R.C. helps you run your checks and keep a clear, timestamped record of them. Your team is still responsible for the equipment, training, and safety decisions.
