F.O.R.C. vs SafetyCulture (Mitti)
Last checked: November 3, 2026. Prices change — check each vendor's site before you decide.
SafetyCulture, now branded Mitti, is a well-known, full-featured platform used by a lot of teams. F.O.R.C. — Facilities Operational Reports & Compliance is a much smaller, narrower tool. This page is my honest take on where each one fits. I'm the founder of F.O.R.C., so read it with that in mind, and check the sources.
The short answer
- Pick Mitti if you want one platform for inspections, audits, training, analytics, integrations, and single sign-on across a larger organization, and you're fine with per-user pricing.
- Pick F.O.R.C. if you mainly need operators to check equipment before use, you don't want to manage worker logins or apps, and you'd rather pay per site than per person.

A cost example (list prices only)
Say you have one shop with 10 operators who check equipment. On Mitti, 10 Premium seats at $24/seat/month (annual) is $240/month, or $290/month at the monthly rate — though Mitti's Free plan covering up to 10 seats may be enough if its limits fit you. On F.O.R.C., operators don't count against your plan, so that shop is $29/month on Single site if it has up to 25 pieces of equipment, or free if it has 3 or fewer.
That's not the whole story. Mitti does a lot more. If you'll use those extras, the per-seat cost may be worth it.
Where Mitti is stronger
- Far more features: training, advanced analytics, integrations, permissions, SSO
- Built for larger, multi-site organizations with enterprise support
- A large template and content library
- A big company with a long track record
Where F.O.R.C. is stronger
- Nothing for operators to install or log into
- Price doesn't go up when you add operators
- Focused on one job — equipment checks — so there's less to set up and learn
- Built by a maintenance guy who's done these inspections and sat through audits

FAQ
Is SafetyCulture the same as Mitti?
Mitti's site shows "Mitti (by SafetyCulture)," and safetyculture.com now points to mitti.com.
Is F.O.R.C. cheaper than SafetyCulture?
For a team where many operators only do equipment checks, often yes, because F.O.R.C. doesn't charge per user. If Mitti's Free plan fits your needs, it may cost nothing. Compare using your own numbers.
Can I move my records if I switch?
From F.O.R.C., yes — export CSV or PDF anytime on any plan.
Does either tool guarantee OSHA compliance?
F.O.R.C. doesn't, and no record-keeping tool can. Your team stays responsible for equipment, training, and safety decisions.
